‘She sees miracles in seashells’ – The conch shell painting by Krupa Shah
Inspired by enchanting landscapes, majestic sunsets, serene harbours, eternal seas, and cosmic spirituality, I began a series of paintings dedicated to the ocean’s adorned charm, ‘The Divine Conch.’ With roots in the city by the Arabian sea, I grew up wandering the beaches with arms tanned dark all my hours hunting conch shells, which I later fondly named ‘Abhiscka – The Chank.’ Abhiscka is not just a language that conveys my spiritual and emotional state in each of my artworks, but also the language of nature which one should listen to.
